Biography:

Ramon Chibb, born on January 11th in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, is a versatile professional excelling as a director and producer. Raised in a family with ties to the Indian Air Force, Ramon’s educational journey took him to various cities, including Wellington, Delhi, Agra, Jorhat, Baroda, Ahmedabad, and Secunderabad. He pursued his graduation in Economics from St Xavier’s College in Ahmedabad. Following in his father’s footsteps, Ramon dedicated five years to serving the nation in the Indian Army, from 1990 to 1995.

Post his military career, Ramon ventured into documentary filmmaking, marking the beginning of his illustrious career. Notably, his breakthrough project was “Mission Everest” for the National Geographic Channel in 2003, where he served as an executive producer. This success paved the way for him to collaborate on shows for prominent channels such as Zee, Star, UTV, and National Geographic Channel.

Ramon held significant roles in the industry, serving as the Senior Vice President for NGC and Fox International India. Additionally, he contributed as the Vice President of Zee’s digital entity, DMCL. His responsibilities extended to being the Vice President for Content Head and Operations at UTV Bindass, where he successfully launched channels like Bindass, Bindass Movies, and Fox Traveler.

In his journey, Ramon directed and produced “Mission Mini,” a captivating series focused on India. His collaborative efforts with his spouse, Anku Pandey, under their banner Manomay Motion Pictures Pvt Ltd, resulted in the production of several noteworthy series. Some of the remarkable shows include “Life Mein Ek Baar,” “X-treme Trail,” “What’s with Indian Men,” “Mission Army,” “Inside Kingdom Of Dreams,” “Trapped in Ladakh,” and “Twist of Taste with Vineet Bhatia Season 1,” aired on Fox Traveler, National Geographic Channel, Channel V, and Star World. Through his creative endeavors, Ramon Chibb has left an indelible mark on the landscape of Indian television and filmmaking.
